That's totally sweet. The drawing itself is ace, and the BG fits really well- i like the way you put the sunlight coming from the direction it's looking in.

The background spoils it a bit, because the texture on the swimmer is great. Looks like he's in the water. Pose is nice too.

This is wonderful. I'm just floored by every single markered pic you post. It seems like every time you post one you're a little more comforable lookin than in the last. It definitely shows in this one. The textures you gave him are just awesome. Especially with the lighting. I'd like to see more of this guy. I really like the design. MORE traditional art, Dan! I'm drooling. ;)

Thanks Jenn, 4 and half more years at this and I'm sure that I'll be drawing at a level that my colors are at.

Hmmm, looking at it's body it doesn't seem to me like it'd be a swimmer... but then again there are many things in life that don't look like they can do something that they are maybe talented at... Maybe this one is special...

you make us hate you, you know? j/k!

the shadings are excelent, but perhaps a little too bright to be underwater. Also, the light that spreads throug his body should have a continuation in the water, because water as a dense materia, makes the light rays visible

The water lines across the body are really cool. But you see how you have some of the rays in the water touching his body behind him? I think it would look pretty cool if you had some rays over the line work , just a little though.
